Mary Stratos is a board-certified Physician Associate and IFM-certified functional medicine practitioner with nearly a decade of clinical practice and 12,000+ hours of patient care.
She spent five years at Parsley Health - one of the country's leading functional medicine practices - caring for hundreds of women with hormonal, thyroid, gut, and inflammatory concerns.
She also practiced at a premier longevity clinic founded by Tony Robbins and Peter Diamandis, caring for professional athletes, executives, and high-profile clients. She trained with globally recognized functional medicine experts and continues to deepen her work in hormones, metabolic health, and longevity.
Mary founded Stratos Functional Wellness to build the practice she'd been looking for on both sides of the table - one that takes women seriously, runs the testing most doctors skip, and does the deeper work that keeps you well long-term.
This work chose Mary: first through her own health journey, then through years of knowing her intuition deserved space in the room. It's why every visit at Stratos Functional Wellness begins with listening. She has seen what happens when women are truly heard and celebrated - and she built a practice on it.
She lives near the ocean, where mornings begin with sunlight, prayer, a walk on the beach, and ceremonial-grade matcha. Weekends, you'll find her at the farmers market, on a hiking trail, or reading in the sand. She lives the medicine she practices: grounded, unhurried, and rooted in her faith.
When women have the information, the agency, and the care they deserve - everything changes.

Women's medicine is still catching up.
Research, training, and clinical practice have historically lagged on women's health. Functional medicine exists to close that gap - and our job is to stay ahead of it for you.
The year women were first required to be included in NIH-funded clinical research.
Before the NIH Revitalization Act, male physiology was the default. Decades of guidelines were built on data that excluded us.

Of OB-GYN and primary care residents feel prepared to manage menopausal patients.
Even the specialties trained to care for women often don't get dedicated menopause training. That gap is why we exist.
